Access Time-a CD-ROM drive's access time is measured the same way as for PC hard drives. In other words, the access time is the delay between the drive recieving the command to read and its actual first reading of a bit of the data the time is recorded in milliseconds.
Single-speed 400 ms
Double-speed 300 ms
Triple-speed 200 ms
Quad-speed 150 ms
Six-speed 150 ms
Eight-speed 100 ms
Ten-speed 100 ms
